This love for craftsmanship deepened during his 20s when he rebuilt a sailboat, an experience that honed his appreciation for precision, durability, and design.
The inspiration for Temporarily On Leave emerged during a weekend backpacking expedition in the Lone Pine mountains. When Dustin and his friends were caught in an unexpected blizzard, the challenges of inadequate travel gear became glaringly apparent. Determined to address these gaps, Dustin began crafting products that combine practicality with timeless design, all stitched with an unwavering commitment to improving the traveling experience.
