Nike ACG – First Light
FIRST LIGHT.
First Light was a one-day takeover of Satellite by Usal and Nike ACG, designed to bring the community together from sunrise to sunset through movement, product, and shared experience. The day moved through three chapters — a sunrise trail run into Griffith Park, an all-day ACG showroom takeover, and a sunset celebration with music, drinks, and community. The goal was simple: create a space where product is not just shown, but lived in.
Overview
The objective of First Light was to introduce the new Nike ACG collection through experience rather than traditional retail. By moving the community through a full day of activity — from trail run to showroom to celebration — the product became part of the environment and the culture around it, rather than just something on display.
The Day
Sunrise — Ultralight Rock Run
The day began at first light with a community trail run from Satellite into Griffith Park. Runners tested Nike ACG footwear on mixed terrain while moving through the park as the city woke up below.

Daylight — ACG Satellite Takeover
Satellite transformed into an open showroom and community space featuring the new ACG collection, custom gear, and space to gather throughout the day. Community members, creatives, and athletes flowed through the space, turning the store into a living environment rather than a retail space.

Sunset — Community Celebration
The day closed with a community celebration featuring music by Joe Kay of Soulection, drinks, and friends of the brand. The space shifted from showroom to party, ending the day the same way it began — with community at the center.**
