UGG x Reese Cooper - Fly Fishing Experience
Stream Testing in the Sierras
In celebration of Reese Cooper’s waterproof boot with UGG, we produced a single-night fly fishing getaway in the Eastern Sierras for Reese and 12 of his closest friends.
Guests field tested the shoes, casting lines in alpine waters, while taking in views of snow-capped mountains and traversing terrain to an outdoor picnic. The weekend was an ode to slowing down and reconnecting—with nature, with craft, and with one another.
In addition to the overnight trip, we hosted an Intro Fly Fishing event at the Pasadena Fly Fishing Club where 20 members of the public had the opportunity to learn about fly fishing and cast lines.
The trip turned heads and caught the attention of Hypebeast, who praised its unconventional approach to launching a shoe—celebrating in the wild instead of the showroom or a club —and spotlighted the boot’s real ability to brave the elements.
