Outdoor Bouldering In The Heart Of The City
Join Usal in Central Park for our monthly, community bouldering sessions - a day of climbing and connection with an experienced local climber. You’ll learn the fundamentals of outdoor bouldering, from spotting and falling to reading routes and climbing etiquette, all while building confidence on stone.
Plus, this month, our friends at Mad Rock will be on-site with climbing shoe demos, so you can experience how a great pair of climbing shoes can change the way you climb.
Whether you're transitioning from the gym or just getting started, this is a pace to learn, climb, and be part of it.
We will meet Near 59th St & 7th Ave before walking to Rat Rock (Umpire Rock) together.

About
Ady is a Bronx native who discovered climbing at 20 while pursuing veterinary medicine. In her 13 years of climbing she completely pivoted into becoming a routesetter, sponsored competitive athlete, community organizer, outdoor bouldering guide, and youth coach. She most enjoys providing a space for people of all abilities and ages to gain confidence, technique, and access to the outdoors.
When she's not climbing you'll find her reading manga, longboarding, or in an aerial/cirque studio.
