New York
Community Climb Day – Central Park
An Intro to Outdoor Bouldering in the Heart of the City
Join us for a welcoming day of climbing and connection as we explore the fundamentals of outdoor bouldering with an experienced local guide. Set against the backdrop of Central Park, this session is ideal for beginner to intermediate climbers looking to build confidence, refine technique, and learn how to climb responsibly on real rock.
We’ll kick things off at Cat Rock—one of the most iconic bouldering spots in NYC—and may explore additional locations within the park depending on group interest and comfort levels. You’ll learn everything from spotting and falling techniques to reading routes and outdoor climbing etiquette. Whether you're transitioning from the gym or just getting started, this is your chance to get grounded in the basics and meet other climbers in the community.
