Los Angeles
Ceramic Workshop – Emma Powell
Annex House Opening Ceremony
Join us for the opening weekend of the Annex House — our first ever dedicated home for Usal gatherings. Built as a space for connection, creativity, and shared experience, the Annex House opens its doors with a hands-on workshop that invites us to slow down and make something together.
To mark the occasion, we’ll be joined by ceramic artist Emma Powell for a relaxed, playful session exploring the possibilities of hand-building with air-dry clay. Guided by Emma, participants will shape one-of-a-kind pieces inspired by personal perspective, favorite forms, and small moments of curiosity.
No prior experience is needed. This workshop is about process over perfection—getting your hands dirty, experimenting freely, and finding rhythm in the act of making. Guests will leave with a finished piece to take home, and a quiet reminder of the value of slowing down, creating together, and gathering with intention.
