Event Information
Surfrider Seattle is teaming up with Usal and Tame Impala to host a community beach cleanup at Golden Gardens Park. Together, we’ll take action to combat plastic pollution in Washington’s waterways and waterfront parks while celebrating the release of Deadbeat.
Our local beaches are stewarded by volunteers just like you. This day is an opportunity to dig your toes into the sand, connect with family, friends, and new acquaintances, and raise awareness about the harms of litter and plastic pollution. Every piece of trash collected makes a difference, and your efforts allow Surfrider to gather important data that can influence laws and reduce waste at the source.
The vibe will be all about active teamwork, environmental education, and fun. Come ready to learn, contribute, and celebrate with a community that cares about protecting our coastlines. Together, we’ll turn apathy into action and show what’s possible when people gather with purpose.
