Paradise Hill Ranch is a small hillside farm with a lot of character, with sweeping views and a peaceful, rural feel—right in the middle of the city. Home to two goats, a mini pony named Dottie, and a flock of chickens, it’s a place where animals are social, well-trained, and used to being around people.
We offer hands-on experience in the basics of horsemanship, including grooming and groundwork with a highly trained pony, as well as practical guidance on caring for goats and chickens and starting your own hobby farm - helping you build confidence around animals or take the first steps toward farm life.

- Intro to Horsemanship: Hands-on grooming and groundwork with a gentle, well-trained pony—perfect for beginners. Ponies are simply smaller horses, making them a safe and approachable way to start learning horse care and training.
- Goat & Chicken Care: Learn the basics of daily husbandry and what it takes to keep these animals healthy and happy.
- Animal Hang Time: Enjoy a relaxed time connecting with the animals in a calm, natural setting. Plus, the animals will join us for a sunset walk with a sprawling downtown view.
