Basics Of Hobby Farming
Paradise Hill Ranch is a small hillside farm with a lot of character, with sweeping views and a peaceful, rural feel—right in the middle of the city. Home to two goats, a mini pony named Dottie, and a flock of chickens, it’s a place where animals are social, well-trained, and used to being around people.
We offer hands-on experience in the basics of horsemanship, including grooming and groundwork with a highly trained pony, as well as practical guidance on caring for goats and chickens and starting your own hobby farm - helping you build confidence around animals or take the first steps toward farm life.
