Forest Therapy Walk
Forest Bathing in NYC
Join Alyssa Benjamin for a guided forest therapy walk in Prospect Park.
Rooted in the Japanese practice of Shinrin-Yoku (forest bathing), this experience invites you to connect with nature through your senses—cultivating presence, curiosity, and care.
Forest Therapy has many benefits, including: reducing stress and anxiety, boosting your immune system, helping restore attention, generating feelings of awe and wonder, and supercharging your creativity.
The practice invites you to create a personal and authentic relationship with the earth and with yourself through meditation, play, ceremony. Forest therapy is also about reciprocity—the practice is a powerful reminder to find ways to give back to the land that continually gives to us.
