Glowworm Night Hike
Bioluminescence Exploration
Experience Griffith Park after dark on a guided night hike that reveals the hidden “night life” of our local ecosystem—including the rare California pink glowworm, the West Coast’s only bioluminescent firefly that appears only in May and June. As day turns to dusk and then into full night, we’ll explore how plants and animals transform with the changing light, learning about bats, owls, night‑blooming flowers, frogs, toads, and other nocturnal wildlife.
