About

Gentle Artefacts is a Japanese tea brand cultivated in Kyoto and curated in Brooklyn, reimagining a world of gentle living shaped by the collaborative efforts of tea agriculturalists, anthropologists, and contemporary artisans. Founded by creative Sabrina Li and cultural ethnographer Gabriel Coren, the project grew from their journeys in Japan and the close relationships they formed with tea producers and craft makers. More than a tea company, Gentle Artefacts is an ongoing practice in reconnecting people with ritual, intention, and the landscapes that sustain us—values that Sabrina and Gabriel bring forward as guides in this workshop.

Itinerary

Begin with an introduction to Gentle Artefacts, our featured tea partners, and the craft collaborators whose vessels we’ll be using. Participants will also share brief introductions. Enjoy a cold-brew Hojicha-Genmaicha to start.
