Mussel Foraging & Beach Cookout

Come together for a guided coastal foraging experience focused on wild mussels and the ecology of the intertidal zone. Participants will learn how to safely identify, harvest, and handle mussels while exploring the rhythms of the tides, coastal ecosystems, and responsible harvesting practices.
After the harvest, we’ll gather on the beach to prepare and cook the mussels together over a simple fire or camp setup, accompanied by seasonal ingredients. The experience is equal parts fieldwork, shared meal, and coastal immersion.
