Nowruz Persian New Year Dinner
Renewal, Community, and Slowing down Together
Nowruz marks the arrival of spring — a time of renewal, abundance and gathering around the table. Chef Nima Jahromi will present a thoughtfully curated menu inspired by the flavors and traditions of the season: vibrant herbs, bright citrus, tender grains and dishes that honor both memory and reinvention.
Hosted by slo slo, a creative studio designing food-centered experiences and ceramic objects for slowing down together.
Expect a warm, immersive setting where each course unfolds with care, each object is chosen with purpose and the table becomes a space to welcome the new year — together.
An evening of renewal, community and slowing down together. We look forward to gathering with you.

Chef Bio
Chef Nima Jahromi is a first-generation Iranian-American raised between Iran and California. His earliest memories are scented with warm saffron rice, crispy tahdig and slow-simmered Aash shared around his grandmother’s sofreh.
Homa, his personal food concept, is an expression of that childhood nostalgia and an homage to his grandmother. Nima draws from the aromas, all-day stews and comfort dishes that filled lively family dinners where everyone was invited and the table was always abundant. In the spirit of Persian hospitality, guests are welcomed with generosity, glasses stay full and plates are never empty.
