Ojai Off-Grid Retreat
Return to the Land
Join us for a three day two-night immersive retreat to East End Eden, a 10 acre permaculture farm in Ojai that bridges ancestral ways with the emergent future through hands on workshops and practices.
For one weekend, 15 guests will unplug and step into a hands-on retreat of how to live with the land — not just on it. Whether you’re interested in sustainability, homesteading, or a break from the modern grind, this experience will offer tools, knowledge, and perspective on what it truly means to live off-grid.

East End Eden
East End Eden is home to a collective of modern-day land stewards who live in deep connection with the earth — growing their own food, building homes from the soil beneath them, cooking over fire, and designing systems that foster both self-sufficiency and communal care. In a time when most of us are tethered to fast-paced, consumption-driven lives, this community quietly demonstrates that it’s still possible to live entirely off-grid — outside the frameworks of capitalism that define our day-to-day.

What's Included
Enjoy full access to the East End Eden property, including a personally reserved camping area, ensuring your stay is as comfortable and immersive as possible.

Retreat Workshops
Discover the beauty and practicality of working with earth as you learn to identify native clay and develop essential skills in mixing and sculpting with cob, a traditional and sustainable building material.

Itinerary
Arrive at East End Eden and take your first steps into the slower rhythm of the weekend. Settle into your personal campsite, breathe in the quiet, and allow yourself to land — body, mind, and spirit.
For those who arrive early, Connor of East End Eden will open the weekend with an intention-setting ceremony. This quiet offering invites you to root into the land, release what you’ve left behind, and center yourself for the days ahead.
As evening settles in, we’ll gather for a nourishing farm-to-table feast — a shared meal prepared with seasonal ingredients grown on-site and from neighboring farms. Dinner will be served under the open sky, as the last light fades and stars begin to rise.
After we eat, we’ll come together around the fire. This is our first circle — a time to connect, share stories, and ease into community. Let this be your entry point: into place, into presence, into the weekend.

All participants will have access to our fully equipped REI basecamp setup. If you prefer, you’re also welcome to bring your own camping gear or car camp on site.
