Oyster Shucking Workshop

From Tide to Table

Join us at Rampant Wine Bar for a beginner-friendly oyster shucking workshop and tasting. Our gathering will start with a short introduction to aquaculture and shellfish harvesting, followed by a demonstration and instruction of proper oyster preparation, including techniques for opening and determining freshness. Next, we will break out into small groups to practice shucking our own oysters by hand. Stick around after the workshop for drinks and a seafood pop-up led by guide Des and chef Janiq, starting at 4pm until 7pm.
