Textile Painting with Natural Dyes
Natural Hour.
Join herbalist and artist Maria Fernanda of Blue Hour Goods for a hands-on workshop where you'll learn to create your own naturally dyed set of cotton kitchen napkins or a cotton pillowcase.
In this two-hour class, you’ll discover how to make plant-based inks and experiment with natural dyes to design textiles inspired by the beauty of the natural world. Maria will guide you through the fundamentals of natural plant dyeing using flowers, herbs, fruits, and vegetables, showing you how to create unique and personalized designs.
This workshop will occur at Natural Hour, Maria's family-owned wellness bar in Sherman Oaks.
