Somatic + Scent Foraging Walk
An Intro to Somatic Re-Earthing and Scent Foraging
Immerse in a half-day outdoor workshop designed to shift you out of urgency and back into a steadier rhythm—through breath, attention, and the sensory intelligence of place.
We’ll begin with EFT tapping + breath work to downshift stress and arrive in the body. From there, we move into eco-somatic fieldwork and a guided walk shaped by consent, kinship, and deep listening—tracking the land through sound, temperature, wind, shadow, and texture. A portion of the walk will be silent, so your senses can lead.
We close with warmth and integration: tea + a resin-burning scented meditation. In this closing practice, we work with resin as a sensory gateway for grief and care: a quiet ritual of “being with” what the land holds, without rushing.
Beginner-friendly, but not surface-level.
No experience needed—just curiosity and comfort being outside.

hat to expect
Arrive and settle into the space, grounding yourself as the group gathers and orients to the day’s shared field. From there, we'll move into gentle EFT tapping and breathwork—practical, accessible tools to soften the nervous system and create a steadier internal rhythm. With that foundation, the experience widens into eco‑somatic fieldwork: listening to the land, practicing consent‑based relationship, and attuning your senses to the subtleties around you.
Afterwards, you'll be taken on a silent smellwalk, where you track how scent shifts with distance, moisture, warmth, and movement, letting the landscape reveal itself through the nose. The arc deepens into a resin‑burning scented meditation, an olfactory ritual that opens space for reflection—grief, beauty, presence held without hurry. Finally, tea becomes the closing threshold, a warm integration before you return to your day at a different pace, carrying the quiet you cultivated back into the world.
