Understanding Plants in Wildfires Workshop

Building Resilient Habitats Through Native Plants.

In light of the recent fires in the Palisades and Eaton Canyon, this discussion offers a thoughtful exploration of the role plants play in our local ecosystems. We'll examine the differences between invasive and native species in our coastal mountains and foothills, their impact on wildfire behavior, and how we can mindfully rebuild and nurture safe, resilient habitats for all living beings moving forward.
Join us to discuss the invasive and native plants of our coastal mountains and foothills and how they play differing roles in wildfires.
