San Francisco
Urban Ecology Hike
Learning from the Land’s End
Join us on an urban exploration of Land's End. Part of Golden Gate National Park, this wild cliffside gem is hidden in plain sight. Starting at The Last Straw, we will set out on a 5 mile out and back following the coastal trail up to the labyrinth lookout, taking our time along the way.
We will learn about the cultural and ecological significance of San Francisco's unique urban coastline through plant identification, storytelling, and guided discussion. Leaning into examples of the land as a place for gathering, reflection, and abundance, we hope to preserve and expand our connection between people and place.
