San Francisco
Usal Hike Club – San Bruno Mountain
Inner City Nature Connection
Together we will explore San Bruno Mountain, an incredible urban oasis and home of the federally-endangered Mission Blue Butterfly. April is the peak of this insect's flight period, so we will tread lightly and hope our paths cross. Leaning into San Francisco's access to wild spaces, we will ascend from city to summit along the ridge line overlooking the bay area.
Our time on the trail will be intentional - an opportunity to redirect our attention towards the earth, its inhabitants, and each other. By recognizing the land as a space for gathering, reflection, and abundance, we hope to preserve and expand our connection between people and place. Along the way, we will stop to rest and reconnect.
