Usal Hike Club – Mt Baldy Summit

Summit with Usal

Embark on a rewarding day hike to the summit of Mount Baldy (Mount San Antonio), the highest peak in the San Gabriel Mountains. We’ll climb the iconic Baldy Bowl Trail, passing through pine forest and exposed alpine terrain with a stop at the historic San Antonio Ski Hut. At 10,064 feet, enjoy sweeping views of the surrounding ranges, the Mojave Desert, and the Los Angeles Basin on clear days.
Along the way, you’ll get local insight on the mountain’s routes, conditions, and spots worth returning to. This is for hikers who want a tough, memorable summit day with like-minded people.
This trip poses as the inaugural trip of our newfound Usal Hike Club, where we will summit peaks monthly throughout the year.
