About
Katina Leier is a New York City–based educator and farmer working at the intersection of ecology, culture, and care. Through her work with City Parks Foundation and across green spaces from Alaska to D.C., she teaches food justice and land-based practices rooted in both scientific and lived knowledge—grounded in the belief that landscapes are living, not passive.
On the trail, Katina guides a slower way of moving. Through walking, storytelling, and observation, participants begin to notice what’s already there—the plants, patterns, and relationships that shape the land—and leave with a shifted way of seeing.
