Usal and Walmart are teaming up to bring more of what you love to city parks. We're tapping into Walmart Delivers, their newest campaign bringing a fleet of immersive delivery trucks across the country — each designed to help level up what you love.
And when Walmart Delivers pulls up with your nature break, Usal will be there too, hosting free community programming that gets you outside, connects you with others, and celebrates the parks that make our cities thrive.
As part of the activation, you’ll discover your park “persona” and get a kit of essentials that fits your style of park life—whether that’s stretching out in the sun, showing up fully stocked, or walking with friends.
Your park day begins at the Walmart Delivers truck: the hub for everything you need to kick off time outside, stocked with gear, connection, and inspiration.

Join Usal to discover the art of cyanotype printing in this hands-on workshop, which uses the sun to create striking blue images. You’ll begin at the Walmart Delivers truck, where you’ll check in and grab a few essentials before heading into the park. From there, led by visual artist and educator Hannah Kathleen McMaster, you’ll arrange natural materials to create designs on your canvas and let sunlight bring your creation to life. No experience needed—just curiosity and a love of experimenting. Catch the light and turn it into art.

12:00pm – Meet Up
Gather at the Walmart Delivers Truck to check in and connect with the group before walking into the park together.
12:30pm – Printing With The Sun
Once you’re in the park, Hannah will provide some background on the art of sun printing and give a short demonstration. Then, you’ll choose from a selection of natural materials and arrange them into your own unique design on your cardstock before letting the sun work its magic. You’ll leave the workshop with time outside, new connections, and an original keepsake made from light, nature, and creativity.

GUIDE BIO
Hannah Kathleen McMaster is a Chicago-based artist, collector, and teacher. With her primary medium being print-making, and as the daughter of a magician, she loves the thrill of a reveal. Hannah holds a BFA in Print Media and Photography from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. In addition to her personal art practice, she teaches relief printmaking and cyanotype. She is passionate about demystifying the art-buying process by running workshops on how to approach galleries and framing fine art.
Where To Meet
We’ll meet at the Walmart Delivers truck nearStockton & LaSalle at 12:00 before heading into the park together as a group. Please arrive at least 30 minutes early to enjoy the in-truck experience and check in there. Late arrivals will be accommodated if space allows.
