Visible Mending - Darning

Join Craft Society for a night of visible mending — we'll explore darning, a traditional hand-stitching method used to repair fabric damage or holes by weaving new threads into a garment. This timeless technique works across textiles, from T-shirts to knits, and offers a beautiful way to extend the life of the pieces you love.
We'll start with a practice round on scrap fabric. Once everyone is comfortable with the technique, we'll move on to mending the pieces we each brought from home.
We encourage you to bring something well-worn that’s ready for repair, but you’re also welcome to simply learn on the provided scraps. If you bring denim, just note it comes with a bit more of a challenge due to its dense weave.
